Christmas Cards

Hello!

I sent out some Christmas cards that I made for some family and friends. Since I am still in rez I do not have all of my supplies. I ended up going to Home Sense to get some holiday paper since there is not other scrapbooking store near my rez. With a limited budget I got 24 sheets for $7.00, but it is not the best paper. I just couldn't buy the $17.00 pad of paper because I already have two pads of Christmas paper at home. I ended up making some cute cards with the limited supplies.

I made Jessica a Justin Bieber card of course since she is such a huge fan!

Christmas in the City

Hello!

It is officially December 2nd, 2010 which means that it is officially Christmas in the City! Some of my floormates and I have been having a countdown since November 1st awaiting December 1st. At 12:00 am on December 1st Kirsten and I went to Ian's room to help decorate his Christmas tree. Even though it was so late we had a lot of fun doing it while listening to Christmas music and watching the fireplace on his tv.

Ian, Kirsten and I after we finished decorating the tree.

I don't know if it just me, but watching the fireplace on tv is a must during the holiday season. Whenever the guy goes and adds a log to the fire it's the best thing in the world. It's the little things during the holidays that make me happy. Only 14 days until I am home. I can't believe the semester is already finished! It seems like yesterday that I just moved into residence and in 14 days I will be moving out for 3 weeks.

My floor went out to dinner on Monday, well only 9 of us did because the others were studying. We came back to open our secret santa gifts. I made red velvet cupcakes and chocolate Christmas trees for the people on my floor and they enjoyed them.

I made a Christmas card to go along with my secret santa gift. I bought her a Secret Santa gift from Lush and a Christmas Blend instant and ground Starbuck's coffee bundle and a cute Christmas Tree lollipop. I ended up getting a $20 gift certificate which is exactly what I wanted.

Until next time,

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

Hi.

I'm actually hoping for a White Christmas, but just not yet. It is just fun to think about Christmas, even though Halloween hasn't even past yet. I will soon be listening to the holiday music. As soon as it's November 1st I plan on getting ready for Christmas and listening to the songs.

Here are some Christmas cards I designed before I left to go to Toronto. All of the images are from Stamping Bella.
I can't wait for Christmas! Only 62 days left.

Christmas Cheer,

Weddings, and Thank yous, and Birthdays Oh My!

Hi again.

I'm in Toronto now at Ryerson studying Public Health for two years.

I don't have a lot of my scrapbooking supplies in residence, but I did bring my markers and pencil crayons along with a million stamped images that I got from my 3 swaps I did in the summer through SCS!

All of the cards were made using Greeting Farm images and some cardstock and markers.

I went to Stephanie's wedding in October and made her and Chris a wedding card from Erika, Heather and I.

I also made a thank you card for my parents for all that they did for me while I was moving into to residence.

It was Stephanie's birthday a few days ago and I made her this simple card since I have a limited amount of supplies. I think it turned out well with only using a card and a few supplies.

Until next time,
A

Weddings and Bridal Showers

I've neglected the blog, but have been making lots of cards.

I was asked to make a Wedding Card for one of the ladies I work with. I forgot to add in the bride and groom's names to the card, but I think it still looks good. It was my first wedding card that I made.

I used the Bella stamp and a computer sentiment. The wedding colours were eggplant and black. I stamped the base card black with my stamp pad which had a Victorian pattern. I added the eggplant paper under the image and sentiment.

Stephanie asked me to do two pages for her scrapbook since I wasn't invited. I decided to do a Bachelorette theme as I am planning on giving her a Bachelorette party.

I found the stickers at Michael's and found some paper to match. I ended up scrapping the striped paper that I bought, but luckily it had baby blue on the otherside which I decided to use. I think it turned out nice. Hopefully Stephanie doesn't think it is bad. I went along with the purple theme and made it similar to the other pages.

Until next time,

A

Merry Christmas

Hello!

I did not post my Christmas cards during Christmas time, but thought they were so cute so I had to post them.
I made a card for my sister with the Cullen family and her as Bella on the front. I also made Cullen Christmas wrapping paper for Stephanie for her Christmas gift.

Until next time.

Thanks,
A

Valentine's Day

Hello!

It is almost Valentine's Day. Since I do not have my own valentine I tend to not celebrate the holiday as much as other people. I do like to give out valentines cards to friends and family. A few weeks ago I found a link where I bought a whole bunch of digital Valentine's Day stamps. A week later I found some rubber stamps at Michael's for Valentine's Day. I decided that this year I would make my own Valentine's Day cards to give out.

The ones below are the ones that I make a few weeks back from the digital stamps. I hand stamped the hearts onto the white cards.

The ones below are the ones I made last night. I hand stamped the hearts with one of the new stamps. I bought the Bee Mine and the cupcakes stamp as well.

I made the ones below with the Valentini stamp from Stamping Bella in the summer time.

I will be posting my Christmas cards that I made for this past Christmas in my next entry.

Until next time.

Thanks,
A

Erika's Birthday

Hello!

Erika's birthday was December 31st. Since she went to visit her family for New Years/ Christmas I have yet to give her a birthday card. I decided to check out Sparkle's blog for inspiration for a new card. I had made Erika a birthday card before Christmas, but decided to make a new one since I haven't seen her.

I used the Sistahoodabella stamp and some different papers that I have had sitting around for a while. I used my Martha Stewart markers to colour the image. I decided to use this stamp to show friendship.

That's all for now.

Until next time,

A
